  7. Hi,

I have an SL1600 EMEA. CPS reports it to have fw R01.01.30 and cp 08.01.08. I have an update package for the SL1600 with fw R01.01.05.0001 and cp 08.02.06. Which of the two is newer?

  8. Incorrect information.
    CPS 13.6 is build 680
    CPS 14 is build 717

    1. That's a very broad question. Are you referring to the physical installation or setting the repeater up in CPS? Have you installed a repeater before?

  10. I've 8 nos of trunk repeater LCP Multi site, repeater type SLR5300, but at the moment just one site and ready to be linked.
With 6 repeaters on, the trunk works fine. But if 7 or max 8 repeaters are on, and with 14 of 16 radio's key to the repeater, the last two slot can be occupied because the repeater can't be on rest channel condition to accept the last two radios, either 13/14 for 7 repeaters on and 15/16 when 8 repeaters on. Sometimes happen when 6 repeaters are on too, the last 2 slots can be occupied.
Software version of the repeaters is 2.06.00.88.
Please advice if you have come accross this problem, thanks

    1. No. In all cases it's down to configuration.

    2. Beacon duration if more than 12 channel is how many ms? Can it be put at max 600msg? Last 2 slot doesnt mean to by the last peer but any peer, or even master to be the last to be on rest channel. Meaning trunking is possible to any repeater, but no rest channel beacon? What configuration do you think is wrong? Thanks.

    3. You don't need to change all that. The default values are okay. Also see http://cwh050.blogspot.de/p/faq.html.

  11. Currently have DM4600 (EMEA) with FW R02.30.01 is that latest? I seem to be missing the DMR (ETSI) messaging format for inter-operability with non M radios.

    1. The firmware listed above is the latest. Your radio has R2.3 which dates from 2013.
